These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts between the Lumo App (operated by Ahmet Kalebas, Kaskelstr. 53, 10317 Berlin – hereinafter "we" or "us") and the users of our Software-as-a-Service platform (hereinafter "User"). Deviating terms and conditions of the User shall not apply unless we expressly agree to their validity in writing.
The subject matter of the contract is the provision of a web application for analyzing and improving interpersonal relationships. The scope of services is based on the service description valid at the time of contract conclusion. ⚠️ Important Notice: Lumo is an AI-based coaching tool and does not replace professional couples therapy, psychological counseling, or medical treatment. The content offered serves to support personal development, not to diagnose or treat mental illnesses or relationship crises. For serious problems, we recommend consulting a qualified therapist or counselor.
By submitting the registration form, the user makes a binding offer to conclude a usage contract. The contract is concluded as soon as we confirm the registration by email or activate the account.
We provide the app with an availability of 98% on an annual average. This excludes times when servers are unavailable due to maintenance work (typically outside normal business hours) or due to technical or other problems beyond our control.
• Access credentials must be kept secret and may not be shared with third parties. • No illegal content or content that violates the rights of third parties may be posted. • The app may not be misused, e.g., through automated queries.

We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence as well as for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health. In case of slight negligent breach of a material contractual obligation, our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Otherwise, liability is excluded.
The usage contract is concluded for an indefinite period and can be terminated by the user at any time by deleting the account or by written notice to us. We may terminate the contract with 14 days notice.
We reserve the right to change these GTC with effect for the future. Users will be informed of changes by email at least two weeks before they take effect. If the user does not object within two weeks, the changes are deemed accepted.
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is Berlin, provided the user is a merchant or has no general place of jurisdiction in Germany.
